It's been an incredible month of healing and self care for me, helped by a new job and a lot of therapy.
Carmine's always been a very special character to me. She was created when I met one of my closest artistic colleagues, who I haven't been able to converse with lately. I think drawing her (and her partner John, in my last illustration) is my way of keeping that friend close.
