This is my submission for Artistree's Art Swap Event for May 2023. The theme was "RPG Character" so I decided to make my Pathfinder2e Gnoll/Kholo Barbarian, Ulnari, since the game is a TTRPG. I chose to portray her first battle as a guard in the Agents of Edgewatch Adventure Path. A construction site had been overtaken by skeleton archers and she ran in to fight ahead of the party, unleashing her Spirit Rage and channeling that power into her meteor hammer. Naturally, of course, she gets riddled by arrows, but meh, it's just a flesh wound.
I was encouraged by my sister to try to participate in this month's event so I tried to really step out of my comfort zone and challenge myself. It took nearly the whole month to be able to put this together, but most of the bulk was practice and research so I could nail the perspective, character design, and just get that idea out of my head. This piece isn't as polished as I would have liked it to be as I ran out of time; I barely had enough for the coloring and rendering and couldn't fix some things either. Still, I'd say I did a really good job with the perspective and character creation which were the main obstacles I was aiming to overcome. This is also Ulnari's first fullbody debut which I struggled to create for a little while now. Her appearance is subject to change as I become more decisive and skilled as to what I want her to look like.
