Hello! Today I worked a bit on the various genes a Dayscale will have. For now, I have the Micro Wings which are an uncommon type of wings for the dayscale, the moose antlers which are also uncommon, and the reindeer antlers which are rare.

How this is going to work is there are 2 type of alterations (genes) the physical ones like here which physically alter a dragon and the color alteration that change the color of the dragon.

Physical alterations are of various rarity. For example here the Moose and Reindeer antlers are from two different rarities. If the dayscale breed with another dayscale (one of them having physical alteration) they have a chance to get the specific antlers rarity like Moose or Reindeer given to their offsprings. However, if bred with another race like an embertalon, and the antlers' rarity is passed down, the embertalon babies, will have an equal rarity type of horns and not necessarily the exact same antlers. If moose is passed down the baby embertalon will have an uncommon rarity of horns.

The color modification will be the same whatever race they have. For example, a parent dayscale has the color alteration "Panda" (that give him pandas markings) can pass the same panda markings to any of their offsprings even if they're of a different race.

And with all that, there's also the recessive and dominant alterations. The dominant ones are the ones physically showing on your dragon. The recessive ones are the ones that could become dominant in the dragon's offsprings but are not visible on the parents. All alterations have the possibility to become dominant or recessive when passed down to the offsprings.

Not sure if any of that make sense to any of you but this is a quick rundown of how the alterations will work for my game :D
