Vincent stumbled upon an injured bounty hunter on a job, who had no choice but to let him help them. He was then taken in, as no one from outside was to know about the Agency or its personnel. It gave him a place to live, having spent about two years on the streets after he ran from an abusive household.

He was trained for the Tracker role; those who help identify and locate targets for the Hunters to deal with. He was partnered with the Hunter whose life he had saved before.

While on a job, a rather fragile building was blown up, causing the death of his partner and the loss of his left leg. He was forced to go back and stay within the Agency's walls until fully recovered, where he met Elizabeth, his current partner.
