It got me in a chokehold, and I had no choice but to put my pen to work and create.
Aside from the song itself as influence, the shadow has its own significance.

MLP;FiM and the fan works that sprouted (and continue to sprout) from it will forever motivate and haunt me. There is no separating them from the person I have become or the art I may create. It is a part of my bloodstream now. Regardless of future or past generations, this version alone lives within my very soul.
