[New Setting! (ish)]
Taking place in a new different setting than the one other art I've posted here, these boyz are the Mighty Knights of Nine Nations, a band of knights errant defined by ultimate stupidity, naivety, disrespect, chaos, and great luck that were created out of every kingdom sending their absolute worst into one group for a "special mission". They travel the world of 13th Century Medieval Europe at the time of the 8th Crusade on a tour to "help" wherever they are needed (or just where they feel like going). Together with their combined might of arms and brain(s), these chivalric failures prove themselves to be the biggest source of migraines to lords and bishops from London, Paris, Rome, Venice, to Constantinople.

[Art and Design]
Basic math should dictate that to be the Mighty Knights of Nine Nations, there would have to be nine of them, and you would be absolutely correct! Currently I have only designed 5/9 knights at the time I am releasing this, is it because I am lazy? Maybe, but mainly because I haven't done much with this specific project as I was focusing on other art projects since then.
I got inspired to do a change in style (slightly) because of the wonderful artist MagnaGallina that does very similar work that could be seen here, with a large amount of reference for my character Sir Eroic coming from one of their pieces.

In no particular order (their appearances will be pointed out later). Today's menu of chivalry includes the likes of: Sir Eroic, Madame Ruthleschilde, Sir Levelle, Sir Rudy, and Sir Belliger.

Sir Eroic (shown on the far right and top left) is the leader of the group, and if he was any better, he could even be considered fodder for a real army. Being as close as they get to the archetypical knight, he acts as the kind, strong face of the group, often acting as their ambassador and main speaker for all outside individuals they need to interact with. Holding close the pillars and values of Chivalry, he does his best to do the right thing and bring glory to his people and his fellow knights. Unfortunately, he is an idiot, and with full confidence will perform rude, blasphemous, and in the worst cases, treacherous deeds by complete accident or idiocy that leaves churches desecrated, towns aflame, armies ruined, and leaders slain (almost exclusively on the friendly side).

Madame Ruthleschilde (shown middle-right and upper-left next to Sir Eroic) is the hotheaded muscle hailing from parts of France(?). She is quick tempered, wild, and bloodthirsty, often seen with an axe in her hands and biting the leather edges of her shield (most believe her to come from Normandy) and is used as an attack dog for rough quarrels and glorious battle. No one was quite sure where exactly she came from before she was found in full armor fighting bears in the hunting reserves for the lord of Burgandy. Her tenacity and ferocity were enough for her to be spared by the men at arms of the realm, before being quickly thrown like a hot potato into the Mighty Knights to avoid an inevitable friendly fire incident.

Sir Levelle (Seen middle-left with the spear) is the voice of reason towards the Mighty Knights, doing his best to assist and counsel his cousin Sir Eroic. Friendly and good at heart, he was sent by his father to accompany the troupe to make sure they don't die within months of their quest. Keeping them alive and out of trouble, he is skeptical and perceptive, but is easily convinced to do just about anything if pressured hard enough and can only see the consequences of the groups actions the moment it is about to send them to the stake. A "Good lad" according to Sir Eroic.

Sir Rudy (Seen middle-left of Ruthleschilde with the lute) is the cheeky, lazy, and cynical teenage music player of the group. Quick to be a big butthole about everything, he enjoys the company of women and the un-company of "losers", shame that he was sent with the Mighty Knights as punishment for bad behavior in his home country. Sharp and witty with his mind and with the strings, he performs some of the most important aspects of a knightly quest: background music and journaling (VERY exaggerated journaling).

Sir Belliger (Seen bottom left) is the small, lovable, and highly motivated boy who does his best to follow the orders of his superiors and be what he calls "the bestest knight". Low-born and using only scraps of actual equipment, he was knighted by Sir Eroic shortly after meeting him in a tour of Belliger's home due to his undying loyalty and determination to be a knight. His parents didn't exactly like the prospect of their strongest son going to war, but they couldn't really reach him in time before he left on horseback either. :/
