Mules are the babs of a mare and a jack- that is, a female horse and male donkey- and they're thought to be better than both horses and donkeys in pretty much every way. XD There isn't a lot of scientific documentation of it, but people who deal with them a lot think them smarter and sturdier than horses and faster and more agile than donkeys.
