I started writing some vague scenes between Halla and Merman Gilnoruil (I was thinking of doing a whole fic but that's beyond me at the moment) and one of them was Gilnor getting captured by a madman bent on proving the existence of Merfolk. He ended up needing to use his siren powers to save Halla from the guy, and to do that, he had to transform. But he was weakened, and that meant he had nothing left after the baddie was incapacitated and couldn't change back. So Halla had to carry him out and get him back to the sea - luckily, she's pretty strong! Of course in the ficlet, she covers his tail up first so no-one will see it, but for art purposes, I wanted it visible.

I told a good friend of mine about this and she was eager to see it depicted, so this one is dedicated to her for being awesome =D
