Human Resources / Big Mouth is one of those things where I feel like more people should watch it and also it's something that no one else should see lol. It's a massive comfort show for me. Ever since Walter and Sonia the love bugs were introduced in season 5 I was like 'oh if I was in this universe I'd be a love bug', but season 1 of Human Resources just solidified that for me. Roomie, hubby and I have a LOT of conversations around the lore of Big Mouth and who would be what and why. Hubs would be a Logic Rock, roomie would be an Ambition Gremlin. Kinda wanna draw them now. jdkshfjkds.

Also if you ever wanna do a fantastic character writing exercise, figure out who would be on your ocs' human resources team.

So I doodled up a little Human Resources sona, Kaiza the love bug. They're Emmy Fairfax's distant cousin, and by that I mean Emmy once threw up in their favorite purse at a family reunion so Kaiza doesn't bother asking how they're doing anymore. But like Emmy, Kaiza's hate worm is a fuckin beast but fizzles out fairly quickly (of course depending on the client and situation too). Kaiza is a proficient, really validating side of love and shows that to their clients, but unfortunately doesn't do well having a normal client load, so after a big ol' mental breakdown the Tube only gives them what they can handle.

Kaiza works well with some hormone monsters, but not many. Kaiza and Gavin actively sabotage each other, and Kaiza brings a spray bottle for Tyler because they just fuckin' can't.
