Children of the mountain tops, they live in the furtive lands beyond the clouds. The Droon are a venturous folk, the fire of adventure alive in their heart even before they tamed the first Cloudkin to fly along the skies. Adept to jump great heights amongst the steep cliff sides, Droon are skilled climbers, whether along a mountain wall or through the lush forests they hold so dear. A precious resource and the only reliable source of food, the mountain forests Droon reside in are fiercely protected. Weapons using wood, such as pole arms and forged steel, are highly regarded as status symbols and usually given to nobility or highly respected warriors as a sign of their social rank, while common soldiers and citizenry more often have access to iron weaponry. However, Droon usually have little cause for war, using their weapons in defense on their grand journeys into the unknown.
