It is like a ponytail holder for her hair when in Senshi form. SPECIAL CIVILIAN NOTES Sailor Asterope has developed an alter identity, Astella James, for use when she travels to Earth. Asterope has a romantic view of Earth and is obsessed with cats! When on Earth, she hides her wings in belted dresses and keeps her hair long and down. She has managed to acquire some Earth money and a small plot of land where she keeps a dozen of her favorite pet cats in a little one bedroom cottage. Outside of her FREQUENT travels to Earth, Sailor Asterope does not have a civilian identity and prefers her senshi form. ASTEROPE: The Butterfly Clan The planet Asterope is a lush green planet that is largely peaceful and home to a race of butterfly people with varying types of wings [wing types are generally a family attribute and genetic]. The planet is green and blue with some smaller lakes here and there but large lush forests. The people of Asterope live in the skies and land in the trees where they build their homes. Larger more formidable and carnivorous animals live on the ground, so the Asteropians do not venture there unless they must for food/medicine [there are very few plants they forage from the ground - most of the ones they get for food are found in the trees but some herbal remedies for illness or injury can only be found on the ground]. Asterope has gone centuries without a senshi being born. The last senshi was killed off by some rogue senshi passing by their planet. Being underdeveloped, the rogue senshi left after claiming the life of Sailor Asterope. Once Lillaraea was found to be a holder of a starseed and able to transform, the elders took her name and renamed her Sailor Asterope, the first senshi they have had in centuries! And she lives among her people as Sailor Asterope, training in the trees and battling the creatures on the planet's grassy plains and lakes. While she isn't very adept at fighting with her hands, she has a mean kick and her Sapphire Tornado attack is extremely effective, even in the dense forests of her planet.
