I just realized I never posted this here!
It was a birthday gift for my writing mentor. He is a character of her novel Petalas de Akayama (Petals of Akayama).
It is a really wonderful story inspired by japanese folklore, but sadly it is only available in portuguese, so it is hard to recommend it to my foreigner friends. But hey, it's getting released by a big publisher here in Brasil, so maybe it will get translated into other languages one day!
