Mariah is a Maiasaura, her herd is mostly comprised of her giant family, but other hadrosaurids follow her because of her wisdom and knowledge of medicinal plants. She also receives many visits from injured and sick travelers from distant lands. Even the carnivores respect her, and know not to target her or her herd, as her capability to heal is as strong as her capability to harm.
