Whew this one is a bit of a long story to explain,
But uh,
Liu and our monk were put through the wringer during a battle with beefed up wyverns,
And he was torn between jumping off the Giant's rib cage and into the cleric's arms, and staying up there to try to help the monk fight them, but Liu was poisoned and at 3hp and would not have been able to help much.
Nobody died, though!
I mean, Liu almost did, but he got better!
