Environmental piece I'm submitting for my portfolio, trying really hard to pass it off as "Definitely Not the Warrior Cat Forest Territories". Using it as a diagram to explain how I think about movement abilities and map design! Captioned something like this:
"With this piece I wanted to communicate how each territory feels to the players, as well as their unique features. Each one is built to encourage non-standard ways of getting around.
**The Moors:**
Ability: Speed, dark-vision
Features: tunnel system, players prone to hawks and rain while above ground.
**The Woods:**
Ability: Climbing
Features: Prey and landmarks in treetops. Dangers on the ground.
**The Marsh:**
Ability: Darkvision, Poison resistance
Features: Infested Sewer system, dubious mushrooms
**The Streams:**
Ability: Swimming, fishing
Features: Highway-like river system, fishing ponds
**The Peaks:**
Ability: Players Can claim spots and customize their own dwellings
Features: Large and barren. Hostile cold so players seek cover. Rope-bridges over chasms."
