So this formline design was a sort of spur of the moment idea I had yesterday after finding out that a super blue moon was happening this week! the creature in the design is a Blue Glaucus, aka the Blue Angel, the Blue Sea Dragon, the Sea Swallow, or the Dragon Slug! They're a very interesting little creature that is actually a nudibranch, aka a sea slug! I've had a fascination with nudibranches for a while now thanks to their interesting colors and forms and so I've always wanted to try making a formline of one of these guys!! That's all the real correlation the blue sea dragon has with the moon other then both their natural ties to water; this was a very self-indulgent design :P

I did my best to get this piece finished before the super blue moon happened, which I thankfully did, but unfortunately it is overcast in my area.. hopefully it'll be clearer tomorrow
