Just another day at the Office, You just finished attending your meeting with the board members, which was the same old talks about future projects. You look out the window of the office building, and surprisingly enough it was already late. The lights on the various buildings across the street are already lit up. You could go home but you still have to finish some paperwork regarding the new project.
You were about to walk away, only for a voice to call out for you.
"H-Hey, hold on"
You turn around to see your assistant coming down the hallway, holding some papers against his clipboard, with a few escaping his grasp. You can't help but chuckle at his clumsiness as he attempted to grab the flying pages.
He was a synth, sure but... ever since the last assistant retired early and the new policy that was enacted regarding Synths, it was agreed to have him assigned to you. Plus it was good for the company. He has only been here for about a week but you aren't so sure about him anymore.
"S-Sorry to bother you sir, but I gotten those files you wanted earlier..." He said to you, trying to straighten the papers with his synthetic hands.
