Here's a drawing I made of Fumikage Tokoyami from My Hero Academia! I thought making this drawing would be an absolute drag because I had never drawn a picture with water ripple effects before in my life. It turns out that if you just lock in, trust the process, and experiment, it isn't that hard. The liquify tool was definitely a huge help! Plus, the custom brush I made was great at blending, so it helped me move right along confidently. Believe it or not, this drawing only took me about five hours to complete!

Onto my thoughts about Tokoyami... Horikoshi was not lying when he said this guy is hard to draw, LOL! Perhaps it's the angular shape of his head and feathers? I wish Tokoyami had more screen time since he's such a cool and kind character. Fun fact, he's my mom's favorite among the cast! I like to imagine that Dark Shadow teases Tokoyami sometimes to the point that they bicker back and forth. Almost like a sibling dynamic! Anyway, this drawing was refreshing, and I had fun experimenting with this puddle point of view.
