This is a piece I created during a very dark time in my life. I have suffered with anxiety and depression for many years, however this was definitely during the worst of it. The original title for this was "demons still hurt", but I posted with it's current title instead as it always felt like I couldn't keep those demons in and I would often explode with emotional pain.
I'm in a better place now, but I still hold this dear to me. I feel like it was an outlet for my toxins to inhabit, rather than letting them overwhelm me. That, and it's a cornerstone of where I was compared to where I am now.
