Taiyang is one of the Forces of Nature, a trio of sibling deities tasked with keeping nature in balance. She is the qilin of flame and forge with her mastery over the elements of fire and metal She the second oldest of her sisters and the and the most infamous for her aggression and corruption that ultimately led her to turn against her sisters for the sake of power. For her treachery, she was defeated and sealed away for many millennia until one day a certain present day battle weakened her prison and she was freed again to continue what she had started. Her name means "Sun" in Chinese.
