This sculpture I made earlier this year with a new body plan for the scrapped Birthstone Dragons. I thought this one would be well off without a birthstone, and so left it as is and added some butterflies to its pond. There will be a few other Koi variety with ponds, if I can find the time to make them! The sculpture sits in a terra cotta saucer meant for a vase, with resin water. The butterflies and lily are made with polymer clay.
