This was the first piece I painted after I did a study of some of Takumi Wada's Breath of the Wild promotional art. I tried to take from that study his economy of rendering and mix in some of my own personal love for highly detail faces. While I don't necessarily think I succeeded in emulating Wada's style, I am happy with how the piece came out overall. Looking back with another two years of painting under my belt, there's definitely things I would do differently now. And maybe I will!
