One of my ongoing projects is a webcomic titled George A. Romero's RESIDENT EVIL. Adapted from an unproduced screenplay by legendary filmmaker George A. Romero (Night/Dawn/Day of the Dead and much, much more) and based on the original 1996 Resident Evil from Capcom, this comic aims to bring his vision to life for the first time as an ongoing comic. Up to 90 pages at the time of posting, this story follows the US Government's Special Tactics and Rescue Squad as they investigate a strange viral outbreak deep within a secret lab located in Raccoon City. Starring Raccoon native Chris Redfield, his girlfriend and S.T.A.R.S. agent Jill Valentine, and members of S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team such as Albert Wesker, Rebecca Chambers, and Barry Burton, this comic drips with gore, scares, and a unique pre-RE2 lore look at the Resident Evil franchise from one of horror's greatest minds (and also me).
