The ridiculously minimalist flag of the Eastern Union, my Eurasian superstate in DYOS. I have literally no idea what it's supposed to symbolize, other than the cool-tone colours might reflect a Nordic heritage. Maybe the white is a sideways 'T' for Thorvald? =P The flag was first seen in the ['09 Christmas Special](https://www.deviantart.com/users/outgoing?http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?p=8757291#post8757291). Prior to then the Union had no common symbol, using the flag of whichever national army was present in a given circumstance; this was duly noted by my characters in an early comic for DYOS XI. The file's dimensions are somewhat small as I pulled it from what I'd uploaded to the wiki; I can't seem to find the original image on any of the three computers I'd've used.
