This here is my D&D character from our current campaign (which is sadly coming to an end - but we will be starting a new one after!)
She is a Tabaxi Warlock.
_Malinka Grimalkin is a 19 year old Warlock, currently residing in the town of Shadow Oaks. She was born in Shadow Oaks to Russian immigrant parents Baran and Tanya Grimalkin, and up until recently lived a very strict, private life with them at home. Because she and her family members are Warlocks (and the associated stigma around them in Shadow Oaks), they are forced to hide this from the public. Malinka is currently enrolled in Shadow Oaks High in the 13th year as a Wizard, which serves both as access to public schooling (her first time in public school) AND to disguise her true origins.
Initially very shy and quiet, Malinka has since come out of her shell somewhat due to her friendship with other students at school, and her dealings with the supernatural that often plague her hometown. She often clashes with her father Baran, who is often very stoic and distant with her, particularly in regards to her path as a Warlock. Baran is one of the higher-ranking members of a cult of Warlocks that worship the Tailypo, and as such, he expects his daughter to follow suit. She, however, finds the cult horrifying and cruel, and has since pledged herself to a new Warlock Patron: Black Hands, Red Teeth. As she grows more and more bold, she strives to find independence and freedom from her overbearing parents. When push comes to shove, she can be quite stubborn, and on some occasions even displays a very dry sense of humour. She is extremely loyal and dedicated to her friends, and when combined with her strong sense of responsibility she is often the voice of reason within the group.
Malinka is very fond of sewing and knitting, and the creation of clothing/outfits in general. She always carries around a sketchbook that also doubles as a sort of diary, containing sketches and designs for items she wishes to make or simply to record things for later. She also has a fondness for sunflowers and the colour yellow. Her familiar is a Vampire Bat named Grigori. Recently she has been practicing the Violin (a gift from her new patron). She does however, suffer from stagefright, and as such finds it difficult to perform for large groups. She also dislikes having her photo taken, or being situations that otherwise make her stand out or draw attention to her._
