During her early days of being a Shadowrunner, Usagi met her best friend and later squadmate Kingfisher while bouncing between raves and looking for underground work. Usagi being a "gun bunny" and Kingfisher being a Rigger with a top-of-the-line cheetah drone made them the perfect duo for espionage. The two besties then later met up with their next Runner team while going to a job that put them in Shibuya, and the rest is history!
