Here we go, the first commission I've been asked for in about two years! I like to pretend I've only gotten better in time, you know~! I've never designed a griffon before, so it was interesting, especially considering the challenge of making a beak that doesn't look like either a party hat glued to the face or a muppet mouth. I wanted the back legs to not look like hot ass, so I ended up doing a lot of research into tiger legs. I'd say I'm pretty proud of this one, he certaintly has the sarcastic, smug sass I wanted to bring to the character. This was a commission for morninghaiku on Tumblr, a really cool blog that posts haikus! Makes me want to write more poems myself, haha!
