Fun fact: For the asah people, you can tell if they're married by whether they have a piercing in the tip of the left ear. Gender combination does not matter as asah don't discriminate. Left lobe is for coming of age (15-16,) right lobe is for entering their job/calling in society (16-20.) Often they match them in style, but sometimes they express themselves and put something different in each.
