Every time someone I know has a baby, I crochet them one of these little octopi. They work up pretty quick and they're super soft, with needle felted eyes to make them baby safe. This one is for one of the vets I work with who just left for maternity leave.

Amigurumi, Super bulky (6) yarn with needle felted eyes. Make with a Mohu Mohu pattern.
