Awhile back on stream, a viewer made a joke about drawing Buzz as a Sailor Scout. I don't remember the context, but I was inspired, and I was originally going to do a set of all three of Apocalypse Child's protags in Naoko Takeuchi's style.

Then I ran out of steam after doing just Thunder. It was fun though! Maybe I'll come back to it and complete the set.

I gotta say Thunder's dead eyes don't suit shoujo style very much. I tried to make it work but eye shines and Thunder don't mix well.

Anyway, I have since thought about how absolutely horrifying Thunder would be as a Sailor Scout: he has little tolerance for villain monologues, frequently chooses violence as a solution, and would very likely forget he has any sort of cosmic power before going after people with his fists. I don't even think he'd wait to finish transforming before jumping into combat.

He would be an absolute terror, and this delights me.
