It's been a long break, but I'm finally making my way back onto social media. As a heads up, I've deleted all my artwork branded with my old username, so sorry for the reuploads this week, haha. A few tidbits about this piece: This was the last piece I did with a lot of photobashing. While I did paint over a lot of details (the trike is hand-painted save for the texture of the scales, highlights, small details, color adjustments, the clouds...) but the majority of the background was put together with photos. This was the last time (to date) that I did this. There's nothing wrong with photobashing (as long as you own the photos or have permission to use them), I just knew I wanted something a little more painterly.
