After Events of Series 1, Lori-Chan ends up in Chosana with Onica with complete amnesia. She is noticeably more child-like and acts more like a child than in series 1 (sorta my way of making it as if she was reborn) She is drawn towards darker colors than in series 1 and her hair has gotten noticeably darker and she's developed a tan (technically the skin and hair changes are intended to be something that changes gradually during series 1, i just normally draw her pale so im pointing it out, the skin is just because she's spent allot more time outside) Onica hides Lori-Chan's origins by claiming that she more or less adopted her in Terrain, a lie that Melody is more than happy to play along with and confirm for her. Since series 1, and especially given Lori-Chans current mental state, Onica has become fiercely protective of her. Lori-Chan grows to accept Onica and Onica's group of friends as siblings and each of them sort of play a part in looking after her and shaping her future. Due to her relationship with Lori-Chan and friends in series 1, Onica in series 2 has come so far out of her shell that she is almost obnoxious. Shes become happier than she had been in centuries prior to meeting Lori and with her help she is slowly able to reconnect with old friends and return to a life she thought was gone forever. There's a reason however, that Onica hides even from Lori-Chan, a reason that would make it unwise to return her back to Earth...
