This is the last piece I was working on before I moved from Michigan to southern California, and the first piece I finished in the new apartment. I love so much about this piece still, especially Meg's face and some of the texture details. But this was absolutely a piece that made me realize I was spending far too much time on background and unimportant details. I personally have sunk more hours into this game than I care to count... I wanted to paint something that captured the complicated relationship between Zagreus and Megaera. Spoilers: It's very horny.
