i was born in Arizona but grew up on the east coast, so when trying to design a night stalker fursona, i wanted the specific species to reflect that. of all the rattlesnakes in Arizona, the black rattlesnake (Crotalus cerberus) is my favorite, and while western coyotes do exist on the east coast, the eastern coyote (Canis latrans var.) seemed a better fit for me.

i may make minor design tweaks in the future, particularly to fur color/pattern, but for now i'm really happy with this design for my new fursona :)
