This picture has a humorously sad story! I have been dealing with a lot of physical pain lately, mostly in my back and shoulders. I've always had chronic pain there, but it was somehow worse a couple weeks back after a long stint at my day job. The pain was so excruciating one night I couldn't get ANYTHING done. I started half a dozen pictures and comics but kept stopping. I fell into a sort of pain-induced delirium at like 4am. Somehow this image came into fruition during it?! I can't remember it clearly at all lol It doesn't surprise me that it was a picture of Akemi that calmed me enough to get to a finishing point, though.

But it's such a great image! It's one of my favorites of this year. Why does my agony craft good stuff?? EVIL!
