An illustration based on one of the most pivotal moments from Kirby's Dreamland 3 for the SNES. I wanted to keep the game's art style as authentic as possible while drawing this, so I used brushes that would help me achieve the crayon/colored pencil aesthetic the game had.

In this scene, Kirby is witnessing King Dedede being taken over by Dark Matter, who then uses the King's body to attack Kirby. The scene that plays out after the battle depends on how many friends you've helped throughout the game, as that determines how the game ends.
