There was no intention of uploading this here, none whatsoever. To be fair, I planned to keep this piece private, but certain people (you undoubtedly know who you are. ;) ) talked me into sharing it on my NSFW Twitter. I then got to thinking about making an SFW variant but promptly decided against it as that wasn't the initial intent. At that very moment, my brain was like, just make a censored version silly. That is precisely when Censorwiggle, Mudwiggle's alter-ego was born. The things my brain typically thinks of at 1 am, in addition, I may have been slightly high too, LOL!! :D

While this piece was on my "Blender To-Do List," there were no intentions of making it now. I'm actually supposed to be working on a secret exchange piece. Before diving into it, my Blender files needed to be cleaned up and consolidate. I eventually got to Pete's file and one thing lead to another...curse this Forsaken man; I altogether can't stay away from him. However, is that a terrible thing?

Holy crap on a cracker, this piece was started at the beginning of November. At this point, it is almost the end of January and non-animated version has finally been completed! Humble apologies for that, but the holidays ended up being a bit rough as most know.

Technically, this is the last piece of 2022, but also my first creation of 2023.

**Pete's Jealousy**

**Pete and Phe watching the Aurora**

After the events of Shadowlands, before our couple departed for the Dragon Isles, Phe wanted to take in the rare beauty of Drustvar's aurora borealis with her man. She mentioned this to her new friend, Marsala who had just returned with her newly chosen visage form. Apparently, Marsala had never taken in the dazzling splendor of an aurora before, and commented on how beautiful it must truly be. Therefore, Phe politely invited her to come along, and she happily joined.

Pete and Phe's relationship, isn't always sparkling sunshine and lollipops. In fact, Pete has a severe issue with violent jealousy. It is so terrible, that Phe has had to get in the middle of his blade and the unfortunate person who happened to have focused some attention on her. Luckily Pete's first meeting with Marsala was a little less intense, as he merely did a grumbling sneer and walked away.

Judging by Pete's appearance in this scene, he is rather displeased and is pouting in the corner sort of speak. Don't worry, though, Phe will make it up to him.

As mentioned in the beginning there will be an animated version with a moving aurora, snowfall, and Pete's eye vapors. I just have the unfortunate job of piecing together 600 frames, as I naturally want Phe to have her fur texture.

During February and Valentine's Day of last year, several romantic pieces of art featuring Pete and Phe were made by me. This time around, I decided to give them some much-needed privacy during the month of love. Instead, we get to see a different unique couple as they share a tender moment. It looks like Jiggles has found his soulmate, awwww.

Meet Kel'Thuzad, Kelly for short, my in-game Sea of Thieves skelly kitty. Don't allow her name to deceive you though, her "purr-sonality" is nothing like her namesake.

This adorable piece was created to give me a break from working with some new somewhat frustrating assets that were recently obtained. I say frustrating, but that is expressed in a good way, as many new things have been undoubtedly learned as a result.

A special shout-out to Cazad0ra for their recent help. I'm so appreciative to be a part of a community filled with caring artists who are willing to help.

As you can naturally see, Mudwiggle has undoubtedly discovered some mistletoe, but luckily he didn't mistake it for a candy treat. Instead, Pete is the lucky one receiving a treat as Pheonixx traditionally gives him an affectionate holiday kiss under the Jormungar held mistletoe. lilac heart bullet 

This will be one of my last completed pieces for 2020. There is an excellent reason why I state "one of my last," and that will be explained in a moment. Some might have taken notice that a certain feathered companion is missing from this piece, one Cap'n Crackers! Much effort was made to include him, but those attempts were not to my liking. Alternatively, he has a photo-bomb render all his own that will be uploaded shortly after this one. ;)

I admittedly have to be honest here, this rendering came to be partially in an attempt to bring a little holiday spirit into my life. Christmas Tree Christmas has practically lost all meaning for me. I dearly miss how the joyous holidays used to be, they were constantly filled with a sense of childlike wonder and a time for family. Time goes by, family either passes or drifts apart and you find yourself pretty much alone. At least I'm not 100% alone thanks to my amazing online friends, but it still just isn't the same. One thing that I urge of those reading, please take the time to tell your loved ones how much you treasure and appreciate them this holiday season.

Hopefully, everyone will have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. This rough year has had many more downs than ups for all, let's hope 2021 is kinder. Please stay safe.

It's about prime time for me to introduce another unique character of mine, meet Marsala my Dracthyr.

Not meaning to be, Marsala is very clumsy when it comes to her magical abilities. She just happens to be a natural-born klutz. The other Dracthyr tolerate her because she is kin, but frequently try to intentionally avoid her. This has typically made Marsala rather lonely. Her only genuine friend, a small blue and purple lizard named, "Queenie."

On the day some of the Dracthyr voluntarily joined the Alliance, upon entering the glorious city of Stormwind, the discussion of taking on a visage form was talked about. This insulted Marsala, why should the Dracthyr have to intentionally hide who they really are? Instead of mingling and meeting with the local citizens, Marsala secluded herself. If her own kind dodged her, she would figure it was only a matter of time before these new beings did in addition.

Obviously, someone or rather something took notice of the sad and mopey Dracthyr. Why it was a large white drooling worm thing, a creature Marsala had never gazed upon. Its tongue wagged as the creature began to lick Marsala's face. The word or rather name, "Mudwiggle!" was shouted from nearby, the worm perked its head up and slithered in the direction of its master. That is when Marsala saw her, a beastly looking woman, a Worgen.

Right away the Worgen apologized for the behavior of her Jormungar pet and introduced herself as, "Pheonixxfoxx." Marsala with urgency told the Worgen not to waste her time, that she was a dolt, her spells often backfiring and causing chaos. How her own kind only "tolerated" her and that is why she figured it best to sit alone, at this point the Dracthyr burst into tears. While continuing to cry in the palms of her scaly hands, Marsala admitted her loneliness, her only friend being a small lizard. How she wished to return to the slumber that the Dracthyr had been awoken from.

Pheonixxfoxx herself knew what loneliness felt like, even though she chose to be alone outside the company of her Jormungars and husband, Sneaky Pete. Phe equally recognized what it was like to be viewed as "different" by the wicked world. Phe sat down beside the weeping Dracthyr and tried her best to comfort the Dragonkin. How Marsala's unique use of magic is part of who she is and that there is nothing wrong with being different. Pheonixxfoxx voluntarily began telling the harrowing tale of what Gilneas had been through, how the Worgen were still seen as dreadful monsters and vicious beasts by some. This was the first time Marsala felt less alone.

In due course, the duo came to be best friends. Upon journeying back to the Dragon Isles, Marsala explained to her new friend that she genuinely needed to do something on her own, but would return when ready. Marsala returned to her secret spot, a ruined temple long forgotten. This once glorious temple was filled with cracked and non-shattered mirrors. A secure place she would sit, to be surrounded by her own reflections time and again to feel less alone. Willingly returning this time, wasn't to feel less lonely. Alternatively, this was to practice taking on a visage form. Something she originally saw as an insult, but now had a more proper understanding of. Taking on a visage wasn't about hiding who you are, but showing respect and getting to know those a person truly holds dear.

There you have it, a short, little tale about Marsala. Some fun facts about her:

_**Marsala's visage form sometimes retains a smaller version of her Dracthyr tail, this upsets her.**_

_**Marsala's Worgen coat is much shorter than Phe's.**_

_**Marsala is actually more powerful magic-wise than most of her kin.**_

_**Marsala is stubborn and ornery.**_

_**Marsala is named after the first captive breed lizard pet I ever owned, a very ornery female Brown Basilisk. My heart broke the day she died.
"Queenie's" name is a take on my nickname back in high school, that of the Lizard Queen.**_

As for this specific piece, OMG!! This render took way longer then it should typically have. Not only were there technical difficulties, but I struggled fiercely with how the pose should look. Apparently, Eevee can't bounce reflections, no this WAS NOT made with Cycles believe it or not. I've only ever worked in Eevee, and my current PC can't really handle Cycles too well. Much enjoyment was had making cracks in the mirror glass, took a few attempts to obtain the look I was after.

This unique piece is the result of a guildie (you undoubtedly know who you are) egging me on to poke fun at another active member of our guild. Hey, what are friends for?! :D

The Pandaren Death Knight in the piece goes by the name of, "Bloodriku." The casual elitest of a player she belongs to, Riku, hates the Stewards. So much that I legit secured a mug for him off of Etsy with a Steward that properly reads, "Just For Yoo-Hoo!" Which according to his wife, Riku does use, LOL!!

As for the crustation with the delicious fruit, Riku recently informed me that if he sees a crab with a banana, then he will uninstall the internet. Challenge eagerly accepted and completed!

Steward's Rest is where this scene takes place. Obviously never stop there to eagerly eat a sammich without first sharing it with the locals.

To my pleasant surprise, this piece took me a week to create. That also includes cleaning up Bloodriku, her armor, and the sexy swords. Fortunately, there was a Steward ready from a previous project. Admittedly, I probably did way more item work to the bench than should have been done. However, I'm rather pleased with the results of this piece. Now to unveil it with Riku and get his appropriate response, he had no idea this was being made by the way. ;)

**Edit** _(4/04/2022)_ - The third piece to get an overlay revamp. I genuinely feel that the changes not only help the characters to pop more but added a little more eeriness. The Steward still can no haz sammich.

That one gosh darn guildie of mine keeps throwing ideas at me, at this rate I will never witness the end of my "project" list. At least it keeps me out of trouble. :D

Rumor allegedly has it that Sneaky Pete often spends time in the Forgotten Crypts behind Karazhan when not stalking...I mean protecting his wife from the shadows. Though here Pete somehow has found himself in the magnificent halls of the eerie tower, where he runs into someone familiar. Usually, Sneaky Pete stabs first and asks questions later, but here he hesitates for this frightened man looking back at him is familiar...

Karazhan undoubtedly remains my favorite place in all of the World of Warcraft universe! Therefore, when it was suggested to do a piece of Sneaky Pete run into his past self, I seized the chance. Clearly, the core focus is not Karazhan itself, but that didn't hinder me from spending time cleaning up the unique architecture and textures. Just like the previous piece completed, this took me a total of seven days. Pete's living self needed some serious TLC. He was merely a ghost in previous works, thus the necessary spit shine I ordinarily do hadn't happened until now.

Before my old lady brain forgets, at one point the struggle with this got real, and that sorely tempted me to give up. Three people helped to give me the feedback needed to bring this piece together, and I just wanted to say thank you.

The next piece on the agenda won't be shared here until the end of June as it is part of a secret exchange. Though there is still a list broad of other planned ideas in the works too. ;)

**Edit** - Made a small change to this piece by adding a vignette. I had meant to test applying one, but it slipped my old lady brain. =P

Here is that other outfit reference sheet for Sneaky Pete. It is based on an in-game outfit I piece together for him back in March. While it isn't exactly "piratey," I fell in love with how good it looks.

**Personality** - A tad on the insane side, a loose cannon, stabs first and asks questions later. Shouts his name loudly before attacking. Very overprotective of his wife, has an issue with jealousy.

**Unique Features** - Has the same eyes as a Death Knight, just a deeper shade o' blue. Due to joining the Night Fae Covenant, he choose the Velociraptor Soulshape. Upon doing so, an iridescent glowing tattoo appeared permanently on his chest.

**Important Backstory Points:**

-In life Pete worked on a fishing boat.

-A feral cat who Pete dubbed "Fritter" lived on the boat.

-Pete's brother was a well respected doctor, who vanished after being summoned to see a patient outside the walls.

-Pete was cut down by the Forsaken the day Gilneas fell.

-Phe found his body and gave into the Worgen curse.

-Last thing Pete saw before dying was Phe's transformation.

-Upon resurrection into Undeath, Pete had no memory of who he was.

-Pete was selected to be trained by the Deathstalkers in the ways of the Rogue.

-After the events of Legion, Pete joined up with an odd crew of misfits and cutthroats known as "Greenbelly's Raiders" for the sea called to him.

-When sailing with "Greenbelly's Raiders," Pete's memory slowly began to return.

This month's art challenge in the lovely Belvane's Discord was "Summer Holidays." The precise moment I read this my brain instantly thought about how both Pete and Pheonixx are not the sun's biggest fans. Therefore, I instantly began brainstorming the clever idea of Pete pouting in a chair on the beach.

Clearly, he has been to the beach plenty of times before, *cough* island expeditions *cough* but it was solely due to the promise of precious treasures and azerite. Ultimately, Phe was able to sweet-talk her husband into going. I did state Pheonix wasn't one for the sun either, but she knew the pampered pets would genuinely enjoy the sunshiny beach. In addition, Phe does genuinely love going for a good swim now and again. I heard she is excellent at doing the dog paddle. :D Yes, I went there, LOL!!

In this piece, we naturally see a very displeased Sneaky Pete in flamingo swim trunks. Phe with her fuzzy Worgen head on his leg doing puppy dog eyes. She sincerely hopes that her Forsaken man will cheer up, and give a day at the beach a reasonable chance. The chances the couple gets together are rare and she would dearly like to make the most of it. At least the cherished pets are having a blast.

I'll admit, I really had a blast producing this. There were some firsts for me with this piece, mainly Mudwiggle bursting out of the sandy ground. I learned how to make exploding sand thanks to the teachings of one Belvane. Also, bonus point to anyone who detects something notable in the sand near Jiggles. 

The swimsuits are unique couple is wearing are Sims 4 assets. Pete's flamingo trunks are by Birba32 and Phe's swimsuit is courtesy of LuxySims3.

I had actually found swimwear with a Halloween theme that really complimented Forsaken. The specific reason I didn't choose them, the flamingo swim trunks are a small personal easter egg, a nod towards my Grandmother. :)

This piece took a lot longer than it should have. The thing is, I wasn't sure what direction I wanted to take it? After hours of playing around with various ideas and seeking a few people for their feedback, I ultimately settled on a scene I'm happy with.

_**"After being brought back, Pete's past memories were in an impenetrable fog. One key thing was certain, the cruel mistress of the raging sea called to him and Pete couldn't help but eagerly answer. Like many Forsaken anger became his driving force. This ushered him to turn into one of the fiercest pirates known and a member of the dreaded Captain Greenbelly's crew. Ultimately he became known as Sneaky Pete but don't let the name fool you, as he wasn't the least bit "sneaky" in his outlaw ways. Pete anxiously desired you to know of his presence, shouting his name as if a war cry. This invoked fear and annoyance into many of his unfortunate victims."**_

There was some much-needed clean-up needing to be promptly done to the model of Cap'n Crackers. Apparently, I had gotten negligent the first couple of times utilizing him; I didn't even fix the flipped faces. In addition, Pete now has tongues of luminosity emanating from his glowing eyes.

_**Edit**_ - Apologies as yes, I thought it was finished. However, after mustering the courage up to voluntarily submit this piece to Belvane's "Feedback Friday" stream, I implemented some minor changes to it. The ropes are now less distracting, the visible moon has been slightly moved and Pete's lustrous hair has some liveliness.

I'm appreciative of the valuable feedback her community provided me about the piece, it was all positive and encouraging. If I had not taken the plunge in getting feedback, I may never have known how to pose Pete's sexy hair too. :D

I naturally decided to create a SFW variant too, because why not?

This specific piece was produced at a casual pace. Genuinely tired of stressing, thinking that so many pieces need to be made in the course of a month.

As the familiar saying goes, "**_Better late than never._**" It seems the past 3 years have been rather rough for a variety of emotional reasons. Hopefully 2023 is not only better for me, but all of you too.

Despite life undoubtedly being a massive turd sammich, 12 art pieces were produced by me in 2022. Instead of going with the template, I've used for the past couple years; something new was chosen instead. Not every month had a new piece of art created by me. If my current WIP was completed in December of 2022, that would have meant a total of 13 creative pieces. Maybe it is a good thing that didn't happen?

Anyway, back on track. While creating at least one unique piece of artwork a month is a good goal to shot for, my art is traditionally meant to be therapy. Stressing to sufficiently meet a goal helps to defeat that specific purpose. Therefore, it was wisely decided that all my art pieces for 2022 are going to be included in the yearly summary. So, a template with no dates was found thanks to Moonbean21. Admittedly, I did adjust the coloring; as purple is my color of choice.

Not really sure how much personal creative growth I accomplished in 2022 or if it indeed shows? Many new techniques were learned and there were formidable challenges to be had, but they were effectively tackled.
