Just a sheet depicting some of their weirder quirks. I honestly have a lot of info about this stuff rattling around in my head and usually I just never get to actually put it out there. Most of it is related to what they do to be presentable to other creatures despite being a weird slime monster because something something clumsy masking metaphor.

The little bit at the end with Ky talking about cyanide is actually the result of me thinking of the bottom right diagram, realizing I didn't know how cyanide poisoning worked, and having to look it up only to find, yeah, it actually effects organisms on a cellular level, disrupting their ability to use oxygen. Considering Ollie is nothing if not loose conglomeration of highly adaptable, multi-purpose cells controlled by an intelligence distributed all throughout that mass, they are indeed, probably not immune to cyanide.

(Don't worry, they're fine, they probably did make Ky help them yank the apple back out, much to her chagrin.)

Sleepy slimes are not always the most pleasant sight. I tend to be a very tired person in general (part of why I haven't uploaded in a tick is because I've been hit hard with a chronic illness I deal with the past month.) Despite this, I try to stay productive in various ways, even though it's really hard to to feel like I'm being productive when I'm just focusing on something like looking for jobs I can apply to.

Just a reference sheet for Ollie, my newer 'sona-type character and weird slime creatura extroadinaire. (You know, my account namesake!) I love them and draw far too much of them because I am in that OC honeymood phase where I obsess over them.

I usually like drawing King Dedede with the kimono, but you gotta admit there are certain... advantages to having him kimono-less...

I remeber I did this when I first finally got my hands on Clip Studio Paint. Truly, it was a magical time. I think I did this mostly with the design pencil, which is still my beloved to this day.

One of my original characters, Wes, a slime who had felt so secure and safe with the magic that was disguising him as a human that he went and got himself a boyfriend... you can probably guess how well that went. Luckily for everyone involved his boyfriend, a hyenafolk named Chance is a big himbo softy.

More Ollie. I was wondering if they could sit on their tail, but I just imagine it'd start to collapse under the weight of their upper body, and making their body more solid just takes too much effort to do all the time.

I tease and say "they're lazy" when I talk about some of the shortcuts they take but honestly taking their upright form takes enough effort, let them take shortcuts if they need to. u.u
