My sister told me that this reminded her of the Lorax, so I decided to take the phrase from the meme "I'm the Lorax and I speak for the trees"

I was having some difficulties with the color of the sketch, and I feel a bit stuck with my color theory, so I decided to do some color studies.

My favorite color palette is the middle one, just because I like darker, more muted colors.

Ironically, even though the first one seems to have the least detail, it's the one that took me the longest, and I didn't even define his mouth XD

For the last one I used a photo of Prince George from England as a ref, I liked it because of all the blue tones around him, and blue is that one color I feel like I still don't use that much in my drawings.

She's a warlock-barbarian, which isn't the best combination, but basically she was attacked in melee all the time, and she could barely defend herself, that's why she decided to multiclass XD

Originally the bastard was a psychopath who wanted us to sacrifice children, and had fun torturing people, but the owner of this OC didn't like the idea and talked to the DM, so now the unicorn is good and a being of light lol

I really like how it turned out, it looks better than I expected XD

I honestly loved the design of this character, it is a combination between Canadian lynx, bobcat, and lion.

It was hard for me to draw the mane, because I've never drawn a furry with a mane, even more because lynxes have a lot of fur on their cheeks, so it was even more difficult to think how to draw it XD, but I think it looks good, however, tell me what you think , and what I can improve.

My mlp oc, Nocturnal, he is a pegasus.

He is very irritable and disinterested, although his cutie mark represents fossils and archaeology, and he is good at it, he doesn't actually like it, since he hates getting his hooves dirty, so most of the time if he can he will try not to come into direct contact with the dirt.

If he could he would change his job, but unfortunately no one hires him, because of his attitude XD and he is in an important position at the moment, so he can't quit his job eithe.

Welcome to another "I have no idea what I'm doing"

Originally it was just going to be an open field with a red sky, but I found this artist on Twitter named Dominik Mayer, and I really liked how picturesque and detailed his art is, so I tried to imitate it, although I don't think I can do it half as well as him XD

I'm sorry that the character rendering isn't that good, but honestly I was already tired, I know the background looks simple, but it was experimenting with colors, textures and ideas that I later discarded xb, at one point I even thought about adding trees.

Anyway, a break from my commissions, so I can experiment a bit and draw my two fav ocs XD

It's 3 in the morning and I finally finished this thing, I was hoping to finish it faster, but this week I've been with some friends so I haven't drawn as much as before xb

I did this to have a better idea on how to shade and where when the light is hitting the front, in profile. I get an idea of where the more general shadows are, but it was also to know how many tones to use and how, which is the most complicated part.

I still don't feel like I fully understand it, and I think I should see in to more depth how the anatomy works, but at least I think my rendering improved.

My favorite one to paint was the last one, the middle one was the fastest, and the first one was the most difficult, I guess because I was still figuring out how to render the drawing in a way it looked good.

I used a grid to help me with the proportions, and I turning the image to black and white to see that my values were the same as in the ref photo.
