Every year, I do an inked art challenge during the month of October, exploring the miniature world one day at a time. Each day gets an inked sketch and worldbuilding prompt, shared daily on various social media sites. 2019 was the third year I did Lilliputian Living, and the theme was Herbal- plants used by Lilliputians in their daily life.Every year, I do an inked art challenge during the month of October, exploring the miniature world one day at a time. Something a little different from my norm- a piece that relies heavily on the inks and spot black to convey the atmosphere and emotion! Kara from [7" Kara](https://7inchkara.com) peeping out from the tall grass. Looking at this illustration makes me feel a bit nostalgic- sometimes it's nice to take things back to black and white.Something a little different from my norm- a piece that relies heavily on the inks and spot black to convey the atmosphere and emotion! A promotional watercolor illustration of the two main characters from my webcomic, [7" Kara](https://7inchkara.com). Naomi, the human girl watches as her friend Kara, the Lilliputian, explores the tall grass and shady dew-covered leaves. I really enjoyed painting this illustration a couple years ago, and particularly enjoyed working on the dewdrops.A promotional watercolor illustration of the two main characters from my webcomic, [7" Kara](https://7inchkara.com). I have fond memories of running through the tall grass as a kid, and I imagine it would be even more exciting if you were really tiny! I hope this watercolor illustration captures a little of that wild, rambunctious joy and carefree abandon. A little mood illustration for my webcomic, [7" Kara](https://7inchkara.com) . Tiny Lilliputian Kara, sitting in the shade of a drainpipe, watching the clouds and surrounded by dandelions and other lawn flowers.A little mood illustration for my webcomic, [7" Kara](https://7inchkara.com) . A dreamy watercolor illustration leaning heavily on the granulating properties of Smalt Blue. I wanted to draw my character Naomi, from my comic [7" Kara](https://7inchkara.com) in a style reminiscent of 80's shoujo manga.A dreamy watercolor illustration leaning heavily on the granulating properties of Smalt Blue. After a decade of selling at anime cons, I've started doing craft and art fairs. Creating a setup that I like has been a long process, but I feel like I'm finally making progress, and thought my booth looked really cute today. Sometimes it's nice to share the culmination of all that hard work. These images aren't technically comics, but as a comic artist selling her comics (the two books all the way to the left on the table), I wanted to share how I sell them.
