Defunct TV's episode on Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego (the gameshow) made me absolutely need to paint The Chief. Lynne Thigpen is so iconic; she was also my favorite part of the '90s computer game we had.

Fantasy and/or nature art, because sometimes people want things that aren't fanart?? I'm currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Biology through Denver Zoo, entirely because I wanted to see about making a career or something out of going to the zoo/aquarium and painting all day. The dragons are just because I like dragons.

My tiefling druid, Nakurutu, and his pet mouse, Bubo. His design is loosely based on a great horned owl, which is also where he gets his name. He does not want to be an adventurer, but an evil beyond comprehension brainwashed some folks in his town and burned it down, so with not a lot of options and a slight desire for revenge, he tags along with the ragtag team. He comes from a long family line of druids, but only really got into the magic since starting out on the adventure. Would rather be in wildshape at any given moment, especially if it involves socializing with strangers. Accidental inventor of owl-based security system and hoarder of random things.

A party member gave him a souvenir magnet that says "Naruto" on it (they didn't have "Nakurutu"), it is one of his prized possessions and he wears it as a necklace.

Needlefelting is when you take raw roving and stab it into shapes with a special needle. Here are some I've made! I do commissions of simple felties at conventions (eg., Lapras and Ampharos, in this set), including original characters and fun creatures.

Went into a two day trance and this 9x12 page came out, 1.5 ballpoint pens later. At some point when I have access to a scanner I'll hopefully get a better picture.

Handpainted fans, many of which were commissions. One of my favorite things to do at/before conventions! All the fans are unique because I haven't figured out a way to copy a design multiple times yet. Watercolors and/or markers, all kinds of subjects.

DRAWINGS AND PAINTINGS! SO MANY! A lot more than fit here. In addition to drawn and painted commissions, I have a lot of prints of digital art and watercolors, as well original drawings and paintings available at conventions.

I've become very fond of this drawing exercise, going straight in marker with no pencil sketch and grabbing mostly random colors to fill in. It's a lot harder doing it semi-realistic than doodling fanart though!

Marker doodles of monster people I did while bingeing new Miraculous episodes. Drawn straight in marker with no planning of subject or color. Just shapes. Random pens. Good times. The start of a new habit that has made my room reek of marker fumes for weeks at a time.

And another thing I would prefer to scan eventually but I don't have a scanner ¯\\__(。々°)_/¯

Part of a off-and-on project with anthropomorphic arthropods... that are more arthopodic than most. This jaunty dragonfly is reenacting one of my favorite movies.
