While still mostly human, these mutants are a fair bit taller and more durable than most average mutants, and part of their mutation involves horn-like growths. Those that live on or by the sea are the less fortunate, due to lack of resources. A lot of oceanic species have been wiped out, causing them to adapt more pufferfish into their diets. This increase of tetrodotoxin into their bloodstreams, while not fatal, causes early onset circulation problems in their extremities, causing them to turn bluish around the fingers, toes, horn tips, and generally any place with thinner muscle walls. This can cause them to develop issues with dexterity by their 50s, but generally lifespans remain unaffected. Jiraiya is a bit of a loner, often patrolling the beaches for signs of trouble. He's a bit of a loner and has trouble fitting in, causing him to be teased often by other onis. His club is made of whale bones and seashells he's collected over years. It's always evolving with him and is his treasured weapon. One of the other main characters of the Warriors World is King Leon! In this era, most technology is either hidden away or destroyed. But the noble rulers still have access to ancient entertainment tech, primarily video games. After discovering a creature that had his same powers, he named and dressed himself after the creature, going by Leon. He is a water elemental with a metalmorph ability as well, able to turn his hands into blades and sprout extra blades from his wrists. He became king not just through birthright but also due to his knowledge and strength. He currently has a friendly rivalry with the neighboring kingdom. In the northern areas, most of the residents dress in soft and dark blues and grays. Their clothes are adorned with magic rubies for cold resistance just in case the weather gets extremely cold, but otherwise are quite comfortable. Whether it be hunting, travelling, or trading, these men have a grace that goes unmatched, able to move across the ice as if they had invisible skates. They are also incredible fighters. While cities are ruled by kings, the arctic region does not have big cities. Instead, the most powerful person is titled chief, and rules over a group of villages. Travelling between them to ensure things are alright. Chief Nikolas is one such man. Donning red and white, as he read legends of the ancient 'Santa Claus,' he has a noble sense about him and insane power. The staff he wields allows him great command over ice. If the weather becomes warmer than normal, or heats early, he can tap his staff into the water and easily refreeze it to allow the tribesmen safe passage. His power is great enough that a slightly chilly wind blows about him at all times, except for when he's relaxed. Certain metahumans aren't born with their powers or mutations, but rather develop them over time. Such is the case with guys like Quincey. Living near deposits of magically enhanced lye, the mineral sometimes can be leeched into the water and thus their food. This otherwise harmless mineral causes them to grow a soft material from parts of their bodies, including their wrists and ankles, which produce a lovely soap. This soapy substance's scent differs from man to man, determined mostly by diet. Quincey's soap is scented heavily like papaya, with hints of coconut and seaweed. But the overall components are still the same. This material not only smells good and cleans away dirt, but also trigger neurochemical responses in the brain to bring good moods. Thus they are known to 'wash away' negative emotions as well. Quincey works hand-in-hand with his brother Teagan. Anyone sick and injured is washed by Quincey's soap, while Teagan administers healing milk. Even though the world has vastly changed since the incident, there are still those who honor the past. None more so than people like Zabuza. The blood of samurai runs in his veins, and even in this era, he takes up the title of Shizoku proudly. He primarily works in the mercenary business, but only in a special way. His targets are those who dishonor their homeland and exploit the weak. With tentacles primarily manifesting in the majority of his hair (he can safely detach and reattach them though they are clingy), he acknowledges that he can wield as many swords as he pleases but simply prefers to use his hands because he likes the challenge. Adding onto this, he possesses the unique ability of teleportation. A swing of his blade tears a hole in the very fabric of reality, allowing him to traverse to any place he's seen. As society evolved from the effects of the radiation event, people had to figure out how best to preserve the population. Now, centuries after, the Fertility Guild is a well-organized system.
