I’m actually impressed by the tributes for Toriyama that were generated by AI. Far more respectful than what happened with Kim Jung Gi but I suppose those crooks had already trained their systems on Toriyama’s work. Nice to see that their hearts were in the right place.

I just can’t get over the Dragonballs having the wrong amount of stars.

What are your art goals for this year?

I was so busy with 2 jobs last year that I haven’t been creating much new artwork. I’d like to take care of a few personal projects and then build a proper portfolio for myself.

The eclipse was an amazing spectacle to behold! Wow!

I’m really excited to share the piece I’ve been working on. I’ve really been pushing my skills to the limit on this one!

Just finished hosting a fun virtual art event. We spend over 3 hours doing figure drawing then an hour painting along with Bob Ross. Landscapes are not my forte but I’m happy with these results. I mistakenly used a small canvas size so the image isn’t as clean as I would have liked.

Saturday January 14th
12 - 5pm EST

We will do figure drawing using videos on the internet. I’ll stream it in the group video chat so we can all follow along together. We will work for an hour and then take a little break to upload our sketches and I can offer feedback to those who would like it.

We will follow this process until about 4pm at which time I will stream a Bob Ross video. I’m going to select it in advance and track down a nice photo reference of his completed painting. Most people don’t know that he had reference just off screen and it’ll help us a lot when we do our own. I’ll be working digitally for this but you can definitely set up traditional paints for this if you want.

You are not expected to be present for the whole time. I just want a decent range of time so that people have the chance to join in. Please just let me know if you plan on jumping in at some point so I know how many people to expect!
