A pencil study of a lion I have done in 2012, referenced from a photo. Turned out rather pleasing :)
This comes with a cute memory, of my little sister who was a super smol bean at a time, she was sitting and drawing next to me, trying to reference from the photo superhard. I was very proud of her!A pencil study of a lion I have done in 2012, referenced from a photo. "He pawed through His forest and observed the other side - the territory that wasn't His, never would be. Something so absolutely different, bright and full of colours - place He would never call home. Yet he understood the balance, that other territory - colourful and exotic, had with His forest - calm, silent and peaceful."
Animals are a little bit weird on purpose. Please don't ask what I had been on at a time haha! RIP THIS SITE ZOOMS IN AND KILLS THIS, how do I keep original size :(
It's my first picture ever done with acrylic paint! Damn, they are so hard to use at first D:
I worked maybe 7 hours with this one, and it's only 10x9cm size!! The smallest picture i have drawn ever!
The brush I used for small details like stripes, nose, eyes, etc was the size of a sewing needle D: maybe even thinner. I guess it's the smallest possible paint brush =D
And, of, course, it looks way better on the paper >.>RIP THIS SITE ZOOMS IN AND KILLS THIS, how do I keep original size :( It's my first picture ever done with acrylic paint! Zamba is an old OC of mine, a black and white lion.
The square patterns on his nails, gums and nose is just me fooling around, they usually are pure black.
Drawn back in 2009 and damn, I still love this picture.Zamba is an old OC of mine, a black and white lion. The square patterns on his nails, gums and nose is just me fooling around, they usually are pure black. Drawn back in 2009 and damn, I still love this picture.0 Comments 0 Shares 2 Views -
Stupid title yes :E
The beastie was outlined with a marker and water-color painted. Then cut out and glued on top of a colored paper sheet. The plant was painted on top most likely with gouache as hmm I don't think watercolor would paint so well on colored paper, but I can't remember anymore. Yellow stripes are glued on also! Was a fun little project.Stupid title yes :E The beastie was outlined with a marker and water-color painted. Then cut out and glued on top of a colored paper sheet. Hello InkBlot! I am Mahogi, a refugee coming from Deviant(AI)art, and I am very happy to discover you :)
I thought this could be my introduction image, which is on the 1st page of my real sketchbook, a door to my art world.
I create digital and traditional art, tho I am terribly lazy and slow. Lately my inspiration was completely dead, so I am hoping this new art site will help me get inspired again. I hope you will like what I have to show you :)Hello InkBlot! Little Tiger was smart. He made a map, so he could go exploring while being aware where is his Mom. After a while, little Tiger realized, that the map is lost!! How he will find his Mom now?!
Aww, I do believe he would like some hugs now!
Idea was suggested by my friend and this picture was the first thing that I imagined :)
Cuddles for little tiger!

He was not a common leopard. Spots, that marked his body, originated from the Sun itself, giving him a unique look. Spots, looking like a little pools of warmth.
The only problem, that the Sun decided to claim, that once was hers. Forming into butterflies the spots started lifting up and flapping away. Trying to catch them won't help!
The background is simplified for a reason, giving just a base understanding about the territory. Hopefully the leopard's left arm looks like trying to catch the butterflies, and not just hung in a derpy way :D

_You will never imprison me... Never_
An old memory, that I still hold dear.
This picture was drawn in a mental hospital, during a period when I wasn't having a very good time in my life. I was a little angry at times, but I rather liked the place, tho I still really wanted to draw something overly dramatic. I actually made a diary of my adventures there, I wonder if I should publish it, maybe someone would find it a fun little read :)_You will never imprison me...
