The lore delivery has arrived.
Spade is finally here! One of the besties ^w^ I should post him some more, he's got some goofy stuff going on lmao.
Context here is that it's been a few years since they would hang out regularly (from high school to mid-20s.. wow.) so there have been a lot of changes that both of them have missed. That's just bound to happen though.
They get along well despite the absence. I think they're both just glad to be friends again.

This one was originally drawn on a memo pad, which becomes entirely obvious when you see I have the dimensions for something written up there. This was actually my first foray into scanning my paper drawings and coloring it in digitally. I also tried out some other things that Clip Studio Paint has (their fun sparkling brushes for instance).
Also I love it when people add new things to her canon outfit so I wanted to give it my own spin here. Was messing with doing one color per layer and using multiply. I like how it looks but it does take a while.

I haven't done watercolor in years. I think I remember why (takes forever).
Anyways this was mostly to test these new water-soluble graphite pencils I bought a few weeks ago. I like how they work! Did not intend to draw my ocs when I started this but it just happened lmao. That's why I kinda don't know what's going on here.
I do like the atmosphere I've made in these four drawings though. I think the monochromatic color scheme really works in its favor.
