When thinking of a language, I would like to imagine wolvawks not having humanoid/mammalian vocal cords. They would primarily talk in chirps, hissing, whistles and similar sounds. My main inspiration for how they would sound are a special bird known as the grackle. Hello everyone! I made this account a long time ago, and now I finally want to upload some of my work on here. Many artwork I have uploaded to Twitter prior, so I hope to gain an audience here through what I post. First up, I'm going to upload my speculative work for my alien species: the Wolvawks! Festivals for some wolvawk cultures would most likely celebrate the coming of spring. Since they're carnivores, I would imagine it would be a plentiful time to celebrate the hard time of winter passing and embracing the coming of new life.

Alien species and how they interact with others among the stars has always fascinated me. What also fascinates me is how they would want to present themselves to these extraterrestrials. Would they want to dress to impress? Would they be true to themselves? Or would they just show up naked? In this case, this wolvawk drawn is a guard to politicians and representatives. Since the space age has come, many wolvawks on the homeworld do not embrace traditional methods of travel. For some though, they will still traverse the land by foot with many taking up the mantle as a trail guide. This illustration was done in the earlier parts of creating the wolvawks. I wanted to develop smaller, but important parts of their society by including ranching. Ottabills are similar to cattle on Earth, and are like duck-river otters in how they've evolved. Wolvawks have entered the space-fairing age and doing so has certaintly created a distance between culture. Those born in space and have only known life on asteroid, moon or space station colonies are seperate from those that live on the homeworld. The ROS, known by homeworld wolvawks as the USS (United Sciences of Sehana), is a group of wolvawks who have distanced themselves to be self-sustainable colonies. Of course, this causes conflict with politians who seek to keep hold on the space-fairing colonies in the solar system.
