Primordial beasts in human form are still beasts in the end. Though these two were bestowed the name of mother. They only take that form to appease their followers because who would want to worship a beast?

Adrienne { The Night Mother} and Gloria {The Day Mother} are the primary deities in Arens. They didn't create the world. They curated life in a land of nothingness. Spurred on by memories of a world lost in the past, they want nothing more than to prevent history from repeating itself.

Adrienne created the Fae and turned man into creatures of the night ( Werewolves and Vampires.) While Gloria created humans and the angels that watch over them. Both have their ideals of what a mother should be. Sometimes the two goddesses clash.

Their true form is similar to a lung dragon. So I often call these two the noodle moms. I'll be designing their real forms soon. Adrienne has finally got the touch-up she deserved.

Both are in mid-transformation- it's a physical one but I figured blood might take away from the piece. This was an older sketch that kinda sat there in my inbox so I decided to finish it...

I wanted to mess with colored line art again. I'm not sure what looks better colored or black lines. It's been a while since I did some proper shading.

Known to be quite the stubborn lass. Despite her sweet face, Galatea has a rough personality. The loss of her parents took a toll on her. At a young age, she isolated herself from the rest of her clan. Afraid to lose anyone else she held dear.

Galatea comes off as rude to those who don't know her. She doesn't mean any ill towards anyone. She wants to be left alone- doing her part for her clan.

It's rare she bonds with someone, let alone trusts them. Trust is valuable and has to be earned. Protective even- willing to play the tough older sister if she has to.

Galatea serves as a hunter for the Tye Varyel, enjoying her time in the forests listening and gazing upon her surroundings.

I’m so glad she’s done, Galatea is one of many redesigns that I have- she’s the first to get a reference sheet. Originally she also had headshots showing various expressions but I omitted that. I figured since she is not one of my main characters, so it's best to keep it simple.

She’s what a typical Vafenrir might look like. Not all of them are covered in fur like she is, most don’t have wings.

Fanart for an underrated anime series from 2021 called; Mars Red. Originally a stage play from 2013. It's a series I've fallen for and has me by the neck. It's not your typical action vampire anime. It has a lot of references to theatre plays—a tragedy.

I highly recommend reading the manga- which is closer to the original source for the series. If you like military vampires in the 1920s check it out, it deserves a lot of reconiztion. I plan on drawing the main cast and maybe some of the side characters. Suwa here was my first victim, its hard to pick a favorite out of Code Zero. I like them all.
