I love Monster Hunter, so when I was asked to do this I was really excited! I wanted to use hot vibrant colours with this since I have had a bad habit of being a little too cautious with my dull colours and pale values.. and this is a fight within a deep lava cavern x)

While I'm not going to make a habit of posting ref work here, I still want to share this one~
I love working with creatures, scaly monsters, dragons, etc. and this was great practice for me! At least where detailed scales are concerned haha. I have my own reptile at home and enjoy learning about different morphs and things -- so I made this gal a piebald alligator.

This is a piece I created during a very dark time in my life. I have suffered with anxiety and depression for many years, however this was definitely during the worst of it. The original title for this was "demons still hurt", but I posted with it's current title instead as it always felt like I couldn't keep those demons in and I would often explode with emotional pain.

I'm in a better place now, but I still hold this dear to me. I feel like it was an outlet for my toxins to inhabit, rather than letting them overwhelm me. That, and it's a cornerstone of where I was compared to where I am now.

Bust commission for [Klawsnappa](https://www.furaffinity.net/user/klawsnappa) of his undivided Chaos Marine!

My client has a kitbashed model that I used as reference for this and his entire homebrew chapter is squirrel themed (which is adorable). I LOVE his little minions; I'm glad I got do make my own designs for them. Each squirrel represents one of the chaos gods and I can't choose which one is my favourite of these. I'm most torn between the Nurgle and Tzeentch one I think x)

I have made many ref sheets for people over the years and I don't plan on posting many of them here; but this is by far one that I am most proud of. It was a lot of work, and much back and forth between me and the client to get it right -- I think it turned out really well. What's your favourite part of the ref? For me, I think I enjyo the red and gold cloak the most!

I've struggled with my mental health for many years, most of all anxiety. This is an emotional personal artwork I made while I was in the depths of it. I truly felt like I was falling to pieces and I could explode at any moment.

I still struggle today, but things are much brighter than they used to be ♥

Though things have been better recently, I still want to share these more personal pieces because it's a reminder of how things were vs now, and it's important to me that I was able to funnel those negative feelings into something pretty. Plus I think this is the only self-portrait type thingy I've done ;;
