This is actually a page from chapter one but missing it’s word bubbles. What does it all mean? You will just have to wait and see ;) 🖤 NOTE: Hannibal is NOT depicted as dead in this. The body horror here is symbolic and is supposed to represent spiritual death/decay. I agonized over this piece for MONTHS before finally nailing down how I wanted to approach it. It was more of less a matter of gathering my thoughts and narrowing things down to what felt right. It was a lot of fun to work on and want to try making more art like this. Not entirely sure if I’m happy with the rendering? It’s okay I mean I like some parts a LOT and other parts I kinda glaze over haha. Still not that satisfied with how I render blood, BUT I do think I’m starting to understand it a little better maybe… just a little lol

Little bird took flight, Never to return to the nest 🌕🗡️⚰️ My first fresh upload on here :) It’s that time of the year where I play a FromSoftware game and become obsessed with my character… another gay wretch for the books😳 I wanna maybe write some literature of him or something.... hmmm... idk he might be fun to rp? Below are some game screenshots and some concepts I collaged digitally during the process of outfit design. Idk why but every time I design an oc that originally came from a character creation engine I NEED to redesign the costume from scratch. Not that I dislike Soulsborne fashion (it is delicious actually), I just like to step away from the “canon” of it? Idk it makes my characters feel more versatile, like I can use them for other universes if I want? Lol idk if that makes sense. Anyways I got the original armor images from the [DS3 fextra wiki](https://darksouls3.wiki.fextralife.com/Dark+Souls+3+Wiki), cutting, pasting, and scribbling over them until I got closer to an idea of what I wanted. The last 3 pics are what he actually looks like in game. I’d like to change up his armor in game but this is what looks best atm (it also conveniently works best for his build too) and I’m fucking stuck on the Dancer boss rn so I guess I’ll just fucking die. I just am not in the mood to grind 7 levels when I’m at level 70 smh (sorry this is probably a long post lol)     

My favorite baby girl freak got that special treatment… the new ref sheet. Lol anyways I tried to make this one serve a bit more as a style guide with notes for details. Cause he has a couple important rules now, but also some more flexibility. He's like a slab of marble I've been chipping away at for almost 10 years. For those that don't know Hannibal is the main character for my multimedia webcomic project [Higher Self](https://higherselfcomic.com/). I was rushing to finish this before Artfight and was hoping I’d get around to a bunch more art for other characters but idk if I’ll have enough! 🤔 Either way I’m excited to be doing my 2nd year of artfight and hope I’ll get around to doing more than just a couple portraits. 🫣 Anyways this needs to be taken away from me before I start thinking I need to render fingernails lmao This is the first thing I’ve really sat and drawn in about a month. We moved and it really swallowed all of my energy to do anything. 😔 Good news is my desk has been replaced with something better suited to my needs and I have finally acquired a new gas lift for my chair. I can finally sit in it properly with my feet flat. I’ve got tons more back support now and can actually rest my elbow on my desk now, something I haven’t been able to do in ages because of the chair’s height. FLAMES ARE BUT DEW UPON MY SKIN WITH YOU ⚡️🔥🔌 Couldn't help but make non-dappled versions of the original 2 cause I couldn't decide if the dapple made everything TOO clustered. Chipped away at this for a couple months with much struggle! :') I overworked the rendering TWICE and though I managed to fix the color palette I do think the values got muddied a bit. Kinda a bummer cause I did a value study and envisioned the lighting to be more dramatic. Though I fell short on my values I do really like the way everything was arranged! The faces were fun and I found out I really like drawing trees lol Anyways here's a peek into what Dill and Rodney's relationship was like :')
