  • OMG ARE THOSE SKELETONS NAKED.

This is a continuation of the height chart for the main 14 skeletons, this time showing off their actual anatomy! Drawing these really helps me visualize how their poses would be, especially when I draw them with clothes. If it don't look good naked, that means ya gotta re-draw the clothes!

The skeletons showcased are Classic, Vanilla, Blue, Stretch, Red, Edge, Vi, Money, Black, Wolf, Bear, Sparrow, Wine, and Coffee.

This part showcases Classic, Vanilla, Blue, Stretch, Red, Edge, Vi, and Money's skeletons.

I had SO much fun drawing all the different body types. It's pretty easy when you have a template Sans and a template Papyrus to work from. some special adjustment for skulls is needed especially in the Sanses, though, so they don't look balloon-headed next to their brothers.

The scars were really fun, too. Absurdmage was sure to include who had scars on what parts of their bodies, so that was SUPER helpful. OMG. I just now realized Money is still technically wearing his eyepatch... Oh well. We'll leave him _some_ dignity. ~~Even though he 100% does not care about his dignity.~~

  • This is a continuation of male ecto references for the main 14 skeletons. There's swimsuit episodes in the fic and that means ecto, bro!

The skeletons showcased are Classic, Vanilla, Blue, Stretch, Red, Edge, Vi, Money, Black, Wolf, Bear, Sparrow, Wine, and Coffee.

This part showcases Bear, Sparrow, Wine, and Coffee's outfits.

Black is just as ripped as Blue, which is hilarious because he has a desk job. So imagine showing up to court and the lawyer you're up against is absolutely ripped. Bye bye to your confidence!

Wolf is lean and fit. Has that natural "I look like I work for it but I was just born this way" tone to his ecto. Lucky boy.

Bear is Sans but x2, so big soft. I had fun drawing his tummy. He's also got big arms. Like Red's but rounder and softer. Big teddy bear.

Sparrow is worryingly skinny. He's working on it, he's got quite a bit of healing to go.

Wine's build is similar to Edge. Looks good, and still functional. 500 years of exercise habits is hard to change, after all. But I made him a bit dantier looking, gave him that feminine edge.

Coffee has a build that looks like Stretch, but he's one of those lean kids that look scrawny but are BUILT. He keeps up his training, after all.

  • OMG THE SKELETONS ARE EVEN MORE NUDE NOW??

GOOD THING I MARKED THIS 18+

I made male ecto references for the main 14 skeletons. There's swimsuit episodes in the fic and that means ecto, bro!

The skeletons showcased are Classic, Vanilla, Blue, Stretch, Red, Edge, Vi, Money, Black, Wolf, Bear, Sparrow, Wine, and Coffee.

This part showcases Classic, Vanilla, Blue, Stretch, Red, Edge, Vi, and Money.

Don't get me wrong, I actually kind of hate ecto. I thought ecto bodies were the silliest idea the fandom had. (Like bruh, ghost wee wees are enough!) But hey, now I've drawn it. So you know, congrats, absurdmagewrites.

Not gonna lie, it was actually super fun to imagine how different everyone's builds would be since they have different lifestyles. Sans is pretty soft, since he's a desk job guy. Doesn't really exercise, so he's rounder.

Papyrus is fairly healthy, so he has a lean, yet muscular build.

Blue is a cop and he exercises, so he's RIPPED. My short boy's got them mascles for days. I also had fun drawing his ecto since he's a lighter cyan color and you can see the lineart a bit better. Can you see that six pack? Can ya??

Stretch is more thin. He's not as muscular as Papyrus since he doesn't particularly care about keeping an exercise routine.

Red is BUILT. He THICC. He's got muscle and his body is solid. He doesn't particularly care for the vain side of exercise, so he's fine not having a six pack. It's not his style anyway. He may look like a soft boy, but all that is pure muscle.

Edge definitely works out. He knows he looks good, so he focuses on the areas that'll keep his shape... Edge-shaped.

Vi exercises just for the good of it, but he's not in it for the vanity. So he's lean, but wouldn't particularly care for a six pack.

Money is the skinniest of the main 14, rivaled by Coffee... and Sparrow, unfortunately. Money doesn't care for exercise, but he's also just. Skinny. Like Shaggy from Scooby Doo, except he's an actual skeleton.

  • This is you, the siren, the reader, from Dracoria_Nebulae's fic, Abyssal Lights.

Abyssal lights is a fantastic fic where the Reader is captured and contained in an aquarium under poor care until the day four skeletons are hired; Green, G, Stretch, and Red. The Siren has limited description -- black scales, pale eyes with black sclera, and ability to light up patterns on her skin via bioluminescense -- so a lot is left to the reader's imagination (which I love). This is the healthy version of the Siren before her health deteriorates. Her scales are black, but I gave her a purpl-ish tint. I imagine when the light catches her scales you can see iridecent purples and greens. Her "hair" is akin to catfish whiskers or prehensile tentacles. I want to do a future piece that demonstrates how she lights up.

While I was reading, I was trying to imagine what the Siren's mouth mechanics were like. She's a gulper eel who can eat fish whole, and thinking of her mouth just stretching wide and constricting like a draw string bag seemed silly to me. I picture that she wraps her mouth around the sides of her head, tucking them under her ear fins and under her hair. The lines of her lips seal together tightly and are very fine and nearly invisible when unused. Closer to the middle of her mouth her lips are more plush and thus more visible, making her appear to have a regular human sized mouth. If she needs a wider maw, she can unfold her jaws and reveal all the rest of the teeth she can use to grip her meal. Gulpers have a really funky mouth, but it's amazing to see them unfold. I was only able to find one video for reference The first position her mouth takes is very intimidating and shows off all her teeth. The second position swings her side hinges down and forward into the widest position a gulper can make to swallow biiiig food.

  • I wanted to create a height chart for the main 14 skeletons. Drawing these really helps me visualize how to do other poses that involve multiple characters.

The skeletons showcased are Classic, Vanilla, Blue, Stretch, Red, Edge, Vi, Money, Black, Wolf, Bear, Sparrow, Wine, and Coffee.

This part showcases Classic, Vanilla, and Blue's outfits.

I based most of the clothing off of [absurdmage's own drawings](https://absurdmageart.tumblr.com/post/673951072920944640/absurdmageart-im-going-to-also-post-these). They also listed all heights and major scars/features. The color pallettes were just nice colors that I thought went well together. I like Papyrus' sunset colored shirt the best out of this batch. I did my best to make every skeleton's face juuuust a little different from the other, but still make them recognizably... well, clones.

  • Fanart of Chapter 4 of Unleashed by Otaku_Princess

This is a fantastic fic set in the Swapfell universe. The story follows Reader, an exhausted college student who has taken up bartending at her local BDSM club as one of her many jobs. The worldbuilding is amazing and the characters have so much depth.

This particular piece depicts Sans' first meeting with Reader at the club, Sweet Release. Honestly, I just wanted to draw Sans in a powerful sort of pose, oozing confidence and sass, with his loyal Mutt at his side. His outfit in particular was the most fun part, next to the obnoxious club lighting.

You can read the fic (18+) itself here on AO3:

The skeletons showcased are Classic, Vanilla, Blue, Stretch, Red, Edge, Vi, Money, Black, Wolf, Bear, Sparrow, Wine, and Coffee.

This part showcases Money, Black, Wolf, and Bear's outfits.

OK, we're at my all time favorite skellie to draw, it's Money! I had a TON of fun drawing his outfit. I've never drawn such baggy sleeves before and it's so fitting for him! I think I made him very relaxed and sluggish looking. I also wanted to make sure I got that pesky eyepatch on correctly, going over his nasal ridge instead of in front (which I see in a lot of art).

Next is Black! I waffled a lot on his outfit's color palette, but I eventually found something that works for his tri-colored shirt. Absurdmage originally drew him with half-sleeves, but I feel like he'd want to always wear something past his wrists. His scowl was super funn to draw, I feel like it came out well.

Wolf's color palette is so soft, I love it! He looks super cute. Making Papyrus-eyes still Papyrus-y while making them look BA is really hard. I want it to be close to the original, but I really like the "sclera" shape around the socket.

Bear's outfit I almost changed from the original, but I wanted to keep a liiiittle bit of integrity. So I found a new color palette for him that looked cute! Muted yet bright, cheerful clothing for a sweet skelly. His skull was definitely the funnest to draw.

The skeletons showcased are Classic, Vanilla, Blue, Stretch, Red, Edge, Vi, Money, Black, Wolf, Bear, Sparrow, Wine, and Coffee.

This part showcases Sparrow, Wine, and Coffee's outfits.

Sparrow's cardigan was SO hard to draw without making him boxy, so he's... boxy. But rectangles are sexy, right?? I tried some folds to make his shape more shapely. I really enjoyed drawing the subtle exhaustion in his eyesockets.

I feel like I can't do Wine justice. I've seen some REALLY GOOD fanart of him and that confident, smexy smirk is harder to pull off than I thought. The gorgeous makeup, too. This would have been way easier at a 3/4 view, so I think I'm just having trouble with his profile itself. Wine's outfit is the most form fitting for all the skello's because ~~he's sexy and he knows it.~~ He's just that fab.

Coffee's eyes were hekkin fun to draw. I love some of his original artwork pieces where the sleepy eyelid look is pulled off so well. I went overboard with his braces, though. I even looked up actual oral aparatus' to figure out how it would look. Turns out it would look a lot like the original art. Coffee's fangs have an overgrowth issue, which is why he needs braces. I gave him an Herbst appliance to correct any overbite that may occur from the fangs pushing his jaw back. Then the fixed pendulum on the roof of his mouth moves his molars back to make space for the canines. I threw in some rubber bands to reign them in an extra bit. I went _thoroughly_ over complicated with it, haha. But at least I'm satisfied with knowing how his mouth contraption works!

This is the last of the clothing references for the main 14!

Stretch looks super stiff in his outfit, I promise he looks absolutely normal when he isn't wearing clothes. He's a really nice boy, so I feel like he would straighten up that extra bit for a height chart. What a cinnamon roll.

Red's outfit is my favorite of this batch. I got to draw super baggy fabric and he looks fantastic in it.

I strayed from absurdmage's original clothing design for Edge. I just wanted more exposed spines, okay?! Otherwise, the skellies just look like... normal people with skulls on top lol. Nah, but I think Edge would wear a crop top. He's fab like that and I feel like he likes intimidating people by reminding them he's the incarnation of death for them.

For Vi, I had the hardest time with his face. I feel like I'm missing something when it comes to his sockets. I messed with the shapes a ton. I did like drawing his jacket, though.

He's fab like that and I feel like he likes intimidating people by reminding them he's the incarnation of death for them. For Vi, I had the hardest time with his face. I feel like I'm missing something when it comes to his sockets. I messed with the shapes a ton. I did like drawing his jacket, though. • It's Teddy in his uniform for Sweet Release!

Otaku_princess confirmed he's basically buff doge, so that was my reference. Out of everything, I think his tiny legs were the funnest to draw. His boss, Coco, is nearly 8', so I assume Teddy might _be_ 8' tall. I put Mutt, Sans, and generic woman (her true size is up to interpretation, so I went for an even 5'6") next to him so you can appreciate his sheer size. He is big fluffy boy. The goodest boy. I got way too sleepy to draw proper Sans/Mutt outfits outside of a silhouette, so that will have to wait until another time. Maybe I can draw more characters by then and have a whole lineup.
